On Tonight's Episode of The Ugly Radio: We've got part one of a full-length two-part sci-fi epic! Marcus Gorman returns to the Ugly Radio with "SPACE RACE 5000".
It's the 50th Annual Space Race 5000 and the whole galaxy is tuned in to watch the most dangerous race in sports. Five teams, four legs, no rules. (Okay, there are a few rules.) The winner? Fame, fortune, and commercial sponsorship deals. The losers? Shame, relegation, and possible loss of life! It's Wacky Races meets The Cannonball Run meets It's A Mad Mad Mad Mad World meets Star Wars pod racing, all in a wonderful SportsCenter-like presentation.
