The U-Triumph Podcast Breakthrough Series

Ever wondered what it's like to share a scene with Arnold Schwarzenegger?

I had an absolute blast talking with the phenomenal actor Fraser James for the U-Triumph Podcast, and I’m thrilled to share this episode with you all.

Fraser's acting career is nothing short of impressive – we're talking Terminator: Dark Fate, sharing scenes with legends like Arnold Schwarzenegger and Mila Jovovich, and even gracing the stage of Shakespeare's Globe.

But this episode goes beyond the glitz and glamour, where Fraser kindly shares his insights and experiences into the hard work and dedication it takes to make it in this competitive field.

He delivers fantastic training tips, the importance of cultivating a rock-solid mindset, and a truly inspiring story connected to his most treasured stage performance.

Plus, Fraser's passion for promoting diversity in storytelling through projects like UnderExposed, which I was honoured to be a part of, is truly commendable. It was fantastic to hear his unique perspective and dedication to empowering others.

Whether you're an aspiring actor, a dreamer chasing your goals, or simply someone who enjoys a good conversation, be sure to take a listen to the most recent U-Triumph Podcast episode.

Episode Three Featuring Amandeep Khasriya: Partner, Major Trauma at Moore Barlow, EDI Champion, Chair of Women Solicitors Network and Law Advisory Board member

Ready to be inspired an incredible leader who defied the odds?

I recently sat down with Amandeep Khasriya, who is not only a colleague and friend - but someone who has been on a remarkable journey to overcome intersectional challenges and achieve remarkable success in her field.

Partner at top 100 law firm Moore Barlow, Amandeep is also an EDI champion, Chair of Women Solicitors Network, Law Advisory Board member, Brummel Magazine's Top 30 London female trailblazers 2022 and more - Amandeep has an impressive roster of roles and accolades that demonstrate her commitment to continuously push herself forward.

During our conversation, Amandeep graciously shared her lived experiences; as a woman, a mother, as someone who comes from a working-class and Indian background. For me, this episode is both inspirational to those who may relate and insightful to those who may not.

Together, we tackled crucial themes like:

💡Diversity & Inclusion: How essential representation and inclusive work environments are for unlocking the potential of marginalised groups.

💡Social Mobility: Breaking through class and immigrant background barriers to reach your full potential

💡Gender & Identity: Navigating traditional expectations and forging your own path as a successful woman. ‍

💡Work-Life Balance: Honing your ambition while nurturing your family

💡Resilience & Grit: Turning setbacks into fuel for determination and self-created opportunities

💡Community Impact: Leveraging success to empower and support others on similar journeys

A massive thank you to Amandeep for generously speaking about her experiences, to help be the ladder.

With thanks to The U-Triumph Podcast sponsors, Moore Barlow, The Stephen James Partnership and PLG Consultants Ltd.

Episode Five Featuring Pauline Campbell: Pioneering Black British Lawyer, Published Author and Chair of Race Equality Network

Rice & Peas and Fish & Chips

I was recently joined by Pauline Campbell, a pioneering black British lawyer and published author, for my latest episode of the U-Triumph Podcast series.

During our conversation, Pauline shared her extraordinary journey of climbing the ladder. Set amidst the backdrop of 1960s London, rife with racism and discrimination, Pauline's story emerges as a testament to resilience, determination, and unwavering advocacy.

From her formative years battling low expectations in school, to embarking on a late pursuit of a law degree while balancing a full-time job: Pauline's path to success was strewn with obstacles.

Yet, she triumphed, crafting an award-winning career and becoming a beacon of hope for marginalised communities, notably the Windrush generation.

She is an extraordinary example of being the ladder, from her pivotal role as chair of her organisation's race equality network to her relentless advocacy for Windrush victims.

During our conversation we also dove into the persistent challenges of racism, sexism, and social mobility plaguing the legal profession, underscoring the imperative for systemic change.

I hope you enjoy listening to this conversation with Pauline, as much as I enjoyed speaking with her.
