The Tubi Tuesdays Podcast

Welcome back to our podcast series from The Super Network and Pop4D called Tubi Tuesdays Podcast! This podcast series is focused on discovering and doing commentaries/watch a longs for films found on the free streaming service Tubi, at TubiTV. Your hosts for Tubi Tuesdays are Super Marcey, ‘The Terrible Australian’ Bede Jermyn and Prof. Batch (From Pop4D & Web Tales: A Spider-Man Podcast), will take turns each week picking a film to watch and most of them will be ones we haven’t seen before.

Hello everyone and welcome back to The Tubi Tuesdays Podcast, your number 1 Tubi related podcast that is hosted by two Australians and one Canadian! Super Marcey, Bede Jermyn and Prof. Batch are back and they have a very special guest for this week! The Tubi Tuesdays Podcast welcomes Pat Torfe to the show for the first time, long time listeners of The Super Network may remember Pat as a featured guests on previous episodes and podcasts. So dear listeners, what film do the crew watch this week? Well it was Bede’s pick and he may never pick again after he unleashed Hell Of The Living Dead (1980) aka Virus aka Night Of The Zombies.

Hell Of The Living Dead was directed by Bruno Mattei (with uncredited work by Claudio Fragrasso), and it stars lot’s of stock footage, even more stock footage, the worst set of commandos you’ll ever see, people painted with clay ... oh wait those are zombies ... we think ... and way too much footage from Nuova Guinea, l’isola dei cannibali (1974).

If you have never listened to a commentary before and want to watch the film along with the podcast, here is how it works. You simply need to grab a copy of the film or load it up on Tubi (you may need alcohol), and sync up the podcast audio with the film. We will tell you when to press and you follow along, it is that easy! Because we have watched the films on Tubi, it is a free service and there are ads, however we will give a warning when it comes up, so you can pause the film and provide time stamps to keep in sync.

Highlights include:

Welcome to the show Pat!

It’s Bede’s pick this week ... why does he still get picks?

After Night Killer and Shocking Dark it’s time to return for more madness from Bruno Mattei and Claudio Fragrasso.

Stock footage, stock footage, stock footage, normal footage, stock footage ...

Do the commandos know how to use weapons?

Weakest and slowest zombies ever but they can’t escape them? Whaaaaa?

Pat might be too scared to come back ...

Will Batch and Marcey ever forgive Bede for this film?

Plus much, much more!

Hello everyone and welcome back to The Tubi Tuesdays Podcast, your number 1 Tubi related podcast that is hosted by two Australians and one Canadian! Super Marcey, Bede Jermyn and Prof. Batch are all here to watch and enjoy this week’s film as chosen by Batch with the cult classic Tank Girl (1995). Yes for some reason Batch decided to pick a film the trio had all seen and actually enjoy to sooth the souls after the past few films. Does Kraven show up? Did Kraven kidnap again? Is it all for revenge on Louise Lasser? Who knows?!

Tank Girl was directed by Rachel Talalay, and it stars Lori Petty, Naomi Watts, Malcom McDowell, Ice T, Jeff Kober, Reg E. Cathey and Stacy Linn Ramsower.

Highlights include:

Second movie into Phase 2 of The Tubi Cinematic Universe!

Marcey was very excited to be watching Tank Girl.

So Tank Girl was modern Harley Quinn before modern Harley Quinn.

Are the mutant kangaroo people good or bad practical effects?

Do we have our 2022 Tubi musical moment already?

Wait, did Kraven steal Batch again?

Should Bede dress in all the costumes from this film?

The next episode is going to torture isn’t it?

Plus much, much more!

Greetings and salutations, welcome back your weekly podcast of utter madness, oh we mean The Tubi Tuesdays Podcast. After last weeks fiasco with Hell Of The Living Dead (1980), Super Marcey made a promise to get revenge on Bede with that choice and needless to say, she delivered the goods with her pick of film this week with Mr. Jingles (2006). It might have been way too good of a revenge film as Prof. Batch really didn't want to watch more than a few seconds of our second killer clown film for the show. Was revenge served? Are both Marcey and Bede banned from making picks on this show? Listen and find out!

Mr. Jingles was directed by a Tommy Brunswick, it was possibly shot using the camera on an old flip phone and it stars a bunch of random people, a dude in a Goblin shirt, Mr. Jingles a killer clown, bad bad bad effects and a twist ending that makes no sense.

Welcome to Super Marcey's revenge!

Whom ever told Marcey about Mr. Jingles might have heat with Batch, oh yeah it was John from Indicator Cast LOL

It doesn't take long for the laughs to start rolling.

Batch might be completely broken, or he would rather watch paint dry than Mr. Jingles.

WHAT IS GOING ON?!

BOOBIE FAIR!

Who wins in a fight? Art the Clown or Mr. Jingles?

Thank goodness for short running times!

Plus much, much more!
