(IBCLC) she has been helping moms breastfeed their babies since 1998, first as a La Leche League Leader and working in private practice doing home visits as an IBCLC since 2005. She has a bachelor's degree from Princeton University in Art and Archaeology. Carmen credits her sons as her inspiration. She states, "They taught me so much about breastfeeding, its joys and its challenges". Carmen is passionate about the work she does. She loves nurturing new families through their new beginning and finding solutions that suit their needs.

Dr. Rishita Jaju is a Board Certified Pediatric Dentist, founder of Smile Wonders in Reston, VA. She is Harvard dental graduate, and former Chief Resident of Pediatric Dentistry at Children’s National Medical Center.

She has achieved Advanced Laser Proficiency Certification from the Academy of Laser Dentistry and Breastfeeding Specialist Certification. Dr. Ray Tseng is a pediatric dentist and owner of the NC Tongue Tie Center in Cary, North Carolina. He holds a DDS and PhD from The Ohio State University and completed post-doctoral research and pediatric specialty training at the University of North Carolina. Dr. Tseng has focused on tethered oral tissues (TOTs) for six years, conducting research and practice to build a strong evidence base in this field. He serves on the board of ICAP and chairs its scientific affairs committee, while also holding adjunct faculty positions at UNC and Curtin University.

Dr. Sharon Smart is a teaching and research academic at Curtin University, specializing in pediatric feeding disorders and tongue-tie. She is actively involved with ASTOT and serves as Vice Chair of ICAP, where she co-chairs CIREAS. Dr. Smart has collaborated on ICAP’s Position Statement and Practice Guidelines for Ankylofrenula Management, offering evidence-based recommendations for healthcare professionals worldwide.
