Last week I shared a tip on the preparation you need when heading into a conversation you need to have.
Part of that preparation is preparing for contingencies based on what you know about the person
- Will they get defensive
- Will they get aggressive
- Will the meekly comply
- Will they withdraw from the conversation.
None of them are great if you truly want success - it's like a continuum of silence to violence. And what we need is safety in the conversation. Today you will learn how.
