Journey to Motherhood

There’s no doubt that having children puts the whole world into perspective. Everything else just disappears. Join us on our trip back into the momentous journey of us becoming mothers. We talk about conceiving, loss, labor, birth, and postpartum successes and challenges. Motherhood is different for everyone, there isn’t just one path or one right way to do it best. One thing remains true, nothing in life will ever make you as happy, as sad, as exhausted or as incredibly proud as motherhood. Reflect with us as we explore the miracle that is conceiving, giving birth, and the miraculous little beings we brought into this world.

MONTHLY SPOTLIGHT

As part of TITT Talks' women supporting women initiative, each month TITT Talks will spotlight a member of the community. In this video, you will be introduced to Proud Usacharoenporn. She is a lawyer and business litigation partner. In her spare time, she uses her graphic design skills to raise funds for two wonderful, non-profit organizations: The Little Red Dog and The Center for Disaster Philanthropy, Inc. The Little Red Dog rescues dogs from high-kill shelters across Southern California, rehabs them through behavior training, and finds them forever homes. Proud has fostered several dogs for this rescue and has adopted one! In exchange for a donation to @thelittlereddog, Proud will create for you a personalized portrait of your pet to cherish furever and ever.

Proud has also written and illustrated a children’s book called “Panda-Emic” to benefit The Center for Disaster Philanthropy, Inc.’s fund for COVID relief. The story is intended to give parents a way to explain the pandemic to their young children, to spread solidarity, and to inspire positivity. It details the story of five friends who are forced to stay apart because of the “Panda-Emic,” a pandemic started by the pandas that rocks the animal world. The Center for Disaster Philanthropy supports other worthy non-profits that help healthcare workers and especially vulnerable population, such as Americares, CARE, and Feeding America.
