Welcome to The Surgeon’s Files: The Prodigal Son Podcast, your unofficially official Prodigal Son after-show podcast!

Cr: Phil Caruso/FOX

Each week, The Surgeon’s Files: The Prodigal Son Podcast will break down the week’s episode of Prodigal Son and bring you interviews with the show’s cast and creatives! Think of it as the unofficially official companion podcast for the series.

This week, hosts Mike and Sheila discuss Episode 7 of Season 2, the Winter Finale, “Face Value”. Afterwards, stick around for our exclusive interview with the director of tonight’s episode who also happens to play Gil Arroyo, the inimitable legend, Lou Diamond Phillips! Lou was phenomenal to talk to, a bucket list interview for both the hosts. In an hour long conversation, he walked us through his experience of directing tonight’s episode (with great behind the scenes stories), how it was to welcome new cast members, Catherine Zeta-Jones and Alan Cumming, the book he wrote during pandemic, the longevity of his career and So Much More! A Do Not Miss Interview!

1:06:02 – Time Code for Start of the Lou Diamond Phillips Interview.
