Mikey and Bub explore the phenomenon and history of The Dogman in the U.S. with special guest D.A. Roberts. We found out about D.A. while researching The Dogman for this episode from the North American Dogman Project (NADP) website. I reached out to him because he was listed as the region 2 director, which Ohio is apart of. Region 2 has the most sightings anywhere in the U.S. by far. He tells us about how he became fascinated with cryptids as a young man growing up on his uncle's ranch. Hearing stories about Sasquatch in a forbidden section of acreage. He shares some of his own encounters and a possible Dogman encounter, which was accidentally caught on camera. This episode just scratches the surface. Looking forward to having D.A. on to share more of his incredible stories and knowledge.

The Dogman: D.A. Roberts

BIO: D.A. Roberts is a cryptozoologist, author, podcaster, and field investigator. Born in Lebanon, Missouri, he now lives in Springfield, Missouri with his wife and sons. For most of his career, D.A. served his community in Law Enforcement. D.A. has been investigating and researching cryptids for more than four decades and is the Region 2 Director of the North American Dogman Project. D.A. has been featured onnumerous podcasts and shows for his writing and cryptid research.Known for his “Ragnarok Rising Saga,” he blends the zombie genre with elements of Norse Mythology. The series has been called “a thinking man’s apocalyptic world.” A second Ragnarok series is in the works. He is also known in science fiction for “The Infinite Black Series.” A second Sci-Fi series is also in the works. Mann’s Marauders debuted in October of 2022.

Mikey & Bub take a Detour on The Strange Road finding themselves in the Ohio Valley exploring the stories of the “The Tall Ones”, a forgotten race of giant humans. The guys weed through the countless reports from the late 1800’s and early 1900’s telling of large skeletons found in ancient burial mounds all over North America. Ohio alone has over 300 historical accounts of giant skeletons being revealed in the great earthen mounds of the Ohio Valley. The tales of the lost giants is an extremely controversial subject in the archaeological community. The official position of local archaeological societies and other institutions like The Smithsonian Institute is that there was no lost race of giants..... despite the overwhelming amount of accounts. Are these institutions actively hiding the real truth of North American giants and what's the real truth?

The Islands Of The Giants: Heather L. Arnold

Heather Arnold, a graduate of Syracuse University, had a 15 year career in the television industry in Los Angeles and Manhattan. After leaving the industry to pursue a career in pharmaceutical sales, she was given the opportunity to move from Manhattan to the Caribbean island of Aruba to start her own tour company. Heather's quest to provide historically accurate tours for her clients led her down a path of research shrouded in mystery. Through extensive investigations, field expeditions, explorations, and interviews, Heather determined that the true, rich history of the islands of Aruba, Bonaire, and Curaçao, had been systematically repressed, and vehemently denied.

Looking on old maps, Heather noticed the islands' original names were not as they are today, but were instead called, "The Islands of the Giants", and named after the giant race of people with elongated skulls who inhabited them. After years of exhaustive study, translation, and interpretation of many scientific research papers, peer-reviewed journal articles, and field notes, it can be shown that the existence of the Giants is real, and their story is just now beginning to unfold. Not only were these Giants, part of an elite, ruling class, but they were a far more advanced race than the mainland population of Native American descent. They utilized lay lines, built massive megalithic monuments which still exist today, charted celestial events, and worshiped the Sun.
