You might recognise his name, Oberon Zell. I’ve had him on the pod before, he’s incredibly interesting. He identities as many things, including as an artist, author and a teacher. He’s also a wizard and is the headmaster of The School of Wizardry. On top of all of this he’s also the Founder and First Primate of the Church of worlds... Aaand he’s polyamorous. In fact his life-mate, Morning Glory actually coined the term Polyamory!

Genuinely this is one of my favourite conversations. Our chat was recorded about three years ago in the midst of a global covid lockdown. A lot has happened since then, so at the end of this ep I’ll pop back in and give you a bit of an update on Oberon. For now though, please enjoy my conversation with the wonderful Oberon Zell.

Murder Tours

I’ve got a bit of an interesting one for you today. I’m speaking with Adam from Grave Line tours in LA.

We do go into lots of detail in the ep but basically it’s a murder tour. And it’s one of those things which I feel a bit weird about... But a the same time, I consume true crime content.

So it’s a bit of a funny one, and we do speak about the ethics of running this sort of business, but I’ll tell you what – Adam really knows his stuff, and these tours are more than just gory moments – it’s the history of one of the most interesting cities on the planet.

Now you’ve probably already clocked it, we are speaking about some pretty heavy and graphic topics, if you’re not feeling up to it, maybe save this episode for another time.
