The Soul Horizon

This is an intuitive companion episode to the previous episode—The Freedom Found in Letting Go: Living Beyond the Limitations of Attachments. If you haven't yet listened to the previous episode, I recommend doing that first and then coming back to this episode.

The Freedom Found in Letting Go: Living authentically beyond the limitations of our attachments

Are you living to survive or are you living to thrive? The more attached we are to our identities, beliefs, roles, possessions, stories, etc., the more we're throttled into survival mode. Freeing ourselves to thrive, then, is a matter of lovingly letting go of and loosening our grip on the ego's most engrained attachments.

Revisiting: 35 Years Old—The Point of Concentration

This week, we're revisiting an episode from the first season of The Soul Horizon.
This episode offers a foundation for the information we'll be covering in next week's episode. Next week's episode will be a deep dive into the subconscious mind and how we can leverage the power (and brilliance) of the subconscious to invoke powerful, long-lasting, and life-transforming change.
Here's what this current "revisit" episode is about...
By the time we're 35 years old, 95% of who we believe we are is merely a memorized pattern of beliefs, behaviors, and emotions. This is why real, lasting change is so difficult. The thing is though, we're entirely capable of awe-inspiring changes and shifts at any age. But we've got to know what we're working with first. We need to know what stands in our way. In other words, we must know the enemy before we can determine the best course of action in becoming our own hero.

The truth is...

Most of us hit the age of 35 and from that point forward, simply become an increasingly concentrated version of whoever we were then.

But it's not by choice. It's by repetition.

And knowing the cause is the key to reversing it.
