The Slumpbuster Ep 123: College Football Playoff Scenarios, Lincoln Riley, Brian Kelly & NFL Week 13
Welcome in Slumpbusters! On this episode the Slumpbuster podcast, Ju-Ju & Kyle give you the latest sporting headlines in the world of the NBA, College Football and the NFL.
We kick off the pod by diving into Kyle's most recent NBA Power Rankings. Currently the Washington Wizards sit as the third seed in the Eastern Conference but 12th in our rankings. Are the Wizards underrated and why the exclusion from the Top-10? #Wizards
Speaking of rankings, the latest College Football Playoff rankings were released as such 1. George, 2. Michigan, 3. Alabama and 4. Cincinnati. The possibility of Cincinnati getting bumped for a potential Big-12 Champion Oklahoma State Cowboys looms as does Alabama making it with two losses. Michigan got the big victory against a rival but are they bound for an upset against Iowa? What will the final CFP poll look like on Bowl Selection Sunday?
Aside from the rankings, college football had massive change at the head coaching position for two institutional powers. Lincoln Riley shocked the world Sunday when he announced he would be leaving to Southern California. Riley will get a decade long deal to be the coach at USC and looks to bring the program back to national relevance again for the first time since Pete Carroll left. Brian Kelly made a splash as well leaving the Fighting Irish and heading to LSU. LSU is merely two years removed from a national championship but experienced a falling out with Ed Ogeron. Can Kelly excel in the South Eastern Conference? #CollegeFootball
Following our discussion on college football we give our NFL Week 13 preview for the below games:
Los Angeles Chargers (+3.0) @ Cincinnati Bengals
New York Giants (+4.0) @ Miami Dolphins
Baltimore Ravens (-4.5) @ Pittsburgh Steelers
Denver Broncos (+9.5) @ Kansas City Chiefs
New England Patriots (+2.5) @ Buffalo Bills

Slumpbuster FFB Ep. 48: The Mahomes Fantasy Mystery Continued, Taysom Hill & Cowboys Backs!
Welcome in Slumpbusters to another episode of the Slumpbuster Fantasy Football Podcast. Ju-Ju & Drew review NFL Week 13 and help identify trends to help you win your league. Got a line-up question? Drop it below in the our YouTube comments and we will be more than happy to assist or follow us @slumpbusterpodcast on Instagram for updated rankings weekly. #FantasyFootball #DailyFantasyFootball #DFS
Quarterbacks: Patrick Mahomes continues to burn fantasy owners this season. Mahomes has had only one Top-5 finish in his last eight games. Luckily or maybe perplexingly, it came against this weeks opponent the Las Vegas Raiders. Should you start Mahomes? Will Russ finally cook against Houston? Will Taysom Hill continue to aid fantasy owners by being a dual threat against the lowly New York Jets?
Running Backs: The backfield in Dallas continues to trend towards a split as the season progresses. In a running back committee, will it be Ezekiel Elliott or Tony Pollard that shines brightest? Is there a reason to own a Bills, Seahawks or Texans running back? How will Alvin Kamara return in his first game back?
Wide Receivers: DK Metcalf is also a struggling superstar for his fantasy GMs. Is Metcalf worth a start in Houston? Can Elijah Moore become even more of a rookie sensation with Corey Davis on IR? Is Odell Beckham Jr. usable again in Los Angeles? What are some other possible streamers this week?
