Welcome in Slumpbusters! On this episode the Slumpbuster podcast, Ju-Ju & Kyle give you the latest sporting headlines in the world of Major League Baseball and the National Football League.

Major League Baseball has released the names of individuals debuting for the first time on the Hall of Fame ballot. Some notable first time names include Tim Lincecum, Ryan Howard, Prince Fielder and Jimmy Rollins. While those players are eligible for the first time there are gigantic names eligible for the last time. Barry Bonds, Roger Clemens and Curt Schilling will be on the ballot once more and then no longer. Bonds and Clemens have been withheld from the hall due to their involvement in baseballs fabled Steroid Era. Schilling, a multiple time World Series Champion, has been under fire for his political beliefs. Will this be the year Bonds, Clemens and Shilling finally get inducted into immortality? Kyle & Ju-Ju give their 10 names they would give votes toward.

Our next segment we preview NFL Week 12 and give our predictions for the following games:

Minnesota Vikings (+3) @ San Francisco 49ers

Cleveland Browns (+3.5) @ Baltimore Ravens

Tampa Bay Buccaneers (-3) @ Indianapolis Colts

Tennessee Titans (+7) @ New England Patriots

Los Angeles Rams (-1) @ Green Bay Packers

We close out the show by speculating on the offseason quarterback market. Will Aaron Rodgers, Russell Wilson, Derek Carr and others find new homes in 2022? Who are some teams that should be in the hunt? Can the New York Giants figure things out and should they clear house of Joe Judge and David Gettleman?

Enjoy!

Welcome in Slumpbusters! On this episode the Slumpbuster podcast, Ju-Ju & Kyle give you the latest sporting headlines in the world of the NBA, College Football and the NFL.

We kick off the pod by diving into Kyle's most recent NBA Power Rankings. Currently the Washington Wizards sit as the third seed in the Eastern Conference but 12th in our rankings. Are the Wizards underrated and why the exclusion from the Top-10? #Wizards

Speaking of rankings, the latest College Football Playoff rankings were released as such 1. George, 2. Michigan, 3. Alabama and 4. Cincinnati. The possibility of Cincinnati getting bumped for a potential Big-12 Champion Oklahoma State Cowboys looms as does Alabama making it with two losses. Michigan got the big victory against a rival but are they bound for an upset against Iowa? What will the final CFP poll look like on Bowl Selection Sunday?

Aside from the rankings, college football had massive change at the head coaching position for two institutional powers. Lincoln Riley shocked the world Sunday when he announced he would be leaving to Southern California. Riley will get a decade long deal to be the coach at USC and looks to bring the program back to national relevance again for the first time since Pete Carroll left. Brian Kelly made a splash as well leaving the Fighting Irish and heading to LSU. LSU is merely two years removed from a national championship but experienced a falling out with Ed Ogeron. Can Kelly excel in the South Eastern Conference? #CollegeFootball

Following our discussion on college football we give our NFL Week 13 preview for the below games:

Los Angeles Chargers (+3.0) @ Cincinnati Bengals

New York Giants (+4.0) @ Miami Dolphins

Baltimore Ravens (-4.5) @ Pittsburgh Steelers

Denver Broncos (+9.5) @ Kansas City Chiefs

New England Patriots (+2.5) @ Buffalo Bills

Welcome in Slumpbusters! On this episode the Slumpbuster podcast, Ju-Ju & Kyle give you the latest sporting headlines in the world of the NBA, College Football and the NFL.

The first year of the Steve Sarkisian era in Austin got off to a rocky start but things are looking up. One of the biggest moves in the transfer portal to this point is former top prospect Quinn Ewers leaving Ohio State to return home. Ewers looks to compete with Hudson Card for the Longhorns starting quarterback position. Ju-Ju gives his thoughts on the new Texas quarterback.

Urban Meyers time in Jacksonville was short lived and marred by distractions. The Jaguars decided they could no longer stand by Meyer after former Jags kicker Josh Lambo accused Meyer of kicking him during a pre-season practice. Meyer will leave Jacksonville and presumably the NFL with a 2-11 lifetime coaching record. Jacksonville offensive coordinator Darrell Bevell will take over interim coaching duties to conclude the season.

Kyrie Irving has not stepped on a basketball court the entirety of the 2021-2022 NBA season. This was due to a public health law from the State of New York that would prevent the unvaccinated Irving from playing home games for the Brooklyn Nets. Initially the Nets took the stance that Irving would either be a full-time player or would not play for the Nets this season. After deliberation it would appear Brooklyn has caved and Irving will make his season debut as soon as next week. What does this say about Irving, the Nets and the title possibilities of several teams looking ahead?

We conclude giving our week 15 NFL Predictions and Previews for the following games:

New York Jets +9.5 @ Miami Dolphins

Washington Football Team +6.0 @ Philadelphia Eagles

New England Patriots +2.5 @ Indianapolis Colts

Tennessee Titans +1.5 @ Pittsburgh Steelers

Green Bay Packers -7.0 @ Baltimore Ravens

Quarterbacks: Ravens quarterback Lamar Jackson suffered an injury to his ankle against the Browns. If Lamar misses time Ju-Ju & Drew offer some replacements that could fill the QB1 responsibility. Is Patrick Mahomes a must-start against the Chargers in week 15?

Running Backs: James Robinson has experienced a rift in recent weeks with Jacksonville coaches. Can Robinson return to a RB1 or is he best on your bench for the foreseeable future? Austin Ekeler also suffered an ankle injury this past Sunday. Is Justin Jackson or Joshua Kelley the correct Chargers back to start?

Wide Receivers: DK Metcalf continues to derail fantasy owners lineups since Russell Wilson's return. Should Metcalf be started on name recognition alone? Brandon Aiyuk is finally out of the doghouse and Deebo is in the backfield. Who is the correct San Francisco 49ers wide receiver to start at WR1?

Welcome in Slumpbusters to another episode of the Slumpbuster Fantasy Football Podcast. Ju-Ju & Drew review NFL Week 11 and help identify trends to help you win your league. Got a line-up question? Drop it below in the our YouTube comments and we will be more than happy to assist or follow us @slumpbusterpodcast on Instagram for updated rankings weekly.

Intro: Baker Mayfield struggled in his most recent outing against the Detroit Lions. Browns fans in attendance made sure the fourth year starter was aware of their displeasure as the boo birds rained down from the rafters. Browns' fan Drew Hagenbaugh was in attendance Sunday. Drew gives his perception of the boos and quarterback future in Cleveland.

Quarterbacks: Cam Newton returned to Carolina and shined in his first game back. Will Newton continue his success when the Panthers travel down to Miami? Is Joe Flacco elite? Should fantasy owners be legitimately worried about Patrick Mahomes as he goes into his bye week? Will Russell Wilson bust his slump and deliver on Monday Night Football traveling to the nation's capital?

Running Backs: Jonathan Taylor has a sensational game against the Buffalo Bills in week 11. Taylor scored a total of five touchdowns in the Colts victory. Rest of season will Christian McCaffrey or Taylor score more fantasy points? Does the return of Kareem Hunt negatively impact Nick Chubb? Is Devonte Freeman the RB1 in Baltimore the remainder of the season? Rhamondre Stevenson or Damien Harris?

Wide Receiver: Elijah Moore has been setting the fantasy world on fire the last stretch of weeks for the Jets. Can Moore continue his recent run of success when Zach Wilson is reinserted back in the Jets lineup? How does Moore compare to fellow rookies Ja'Marr Chase, Devonta Smith and Jaylen Waddle?

Conclusion: We discuss TE's, DST and Streamers!

Enjoy!

Welcome in Slumpbusters! In this episode of the Slumpbuster Podcast, Kyle & Ju-Ju tackle the latest breaking news in the world of the NFL, NBA and College Football.

For the second time in four weeks, the Purdue Boilermakers have upset a team in the College Football Top-5. On October 16, Purdue walked away with a 24-7 win over the Iowa Hawkeyes. This past Saturday they opposed a 8-0 Michigan State Spartans team led by Mel Tucker. Purdue quarterback Aidan O'Connell threw for an amazing 536 yards with three touchdowns to beat Sparty 40-29. This is the first time in College Football history an unranked team has beat two teams in the Top-5 by double digits. Will Ohio State be on upset alert going against the hot Boilermakers? (1:23) #Purdue

Our next segment Ju-Ju laments over the failures of the San Francisco 49ers. Kyle Shanahan is the owner of a 31-39 win-loss record in his time as an NFL head coach. His record has entirely been accrued in his time in San Francisco. Is Shanahan on the coaching hot seat following a 31-17 beat down by the Arizona Cardinals. In that game the Cardinals were missing Kyler Murray, DeAndre Hopkins, J.J. Watt and others. Does this speak to a bigger problem with Shanahan, John Lynch and within the 49ers ownership? Ju-Ju explains and talks the future should San Francisco continue to struggle. (5:00) #49ers

The NBA is about a month in and Kyle's second Power Rankings update is on the way. Who will be the biggest riser? Who will be the biggest faller? And we have some developing news with Ben Simmons and the Philadelphia 76ers. Could the Boston Celtics be the team most in play to make a trade for Simmons? Can Jayson Tatum and Jaylen Brown continue as a dynamic 1-2 punch? (27:45) #BenSimmons

The Texas Longhorns have lost their last four games in Steve Sarkisian's first year in Austin. Will Sark still remain the Longhorns head coach in the 2022 season? We also discuss the legend of 'Pole Assassin.' (39:45) #HookEm

We finish with our NFL week 10 preview and predictions:

Atlanta Falcons (+9) @ Dallas Cowboys (45:20)

New Orleans Saints (+3) @ Tennessee Titans (53:00)

Cleveland Browns (+2.5) @ New England Patriots (59:50)

Minnesota Vikings (+3) @ Los Angeles Chargers (1:06:00)

Kansas City Chiefs (-2.5) @ Las Vegas Raiders (1:12:30)

Welcome in Slumpbusters! It is time for another episode of the Slumpbuster Fantasy Football Podcast. On this episode we recap the previous week and give you the knowledge you need to dominate in week 11. Four weeks left till the fantasy playoffs, have you punched your ticket?

Quarterbacks: Some surprising names landed in the Top-12 in week 10. Will Trevor Siemian, Cam Newton and Mac Jones all find themselves back in that spot? Jimmy Garoppolo faces an improving Jaguars defense, should you start Jimmy G? Will Dak Prescott have another Top-3 performance facing the Kansas City Chiefs? What about Derek Carr against the Bengals?

Running Back: Aaron Jones suffered an MCL injury in the Packers win over the Seahawks. A.J. Dillon came in and was the number one overall running back in fantasy in week 10 Will Dillon repeat his production with Jones shelved? Jones wasn't the only major injury at the running back position, Cordarrelle Patterson could miss a game with the Falcons on a short week. Is Wayne Gallman Jr. a name that will reward fantasy owners against New England? Is D'Ernest Johnson and Chuba Hubbard droppable with the returns of Nick Chubb, Kareem Hunt and Christian McCaffrey? Should Jeff Wilson Jr. be started with Elijah Mitchell suffering a finger injury?

Wide Receiver: Stefon Diggs has consistently been ranked as a Top-5 wide receiver throughout the season. Is he deserving of that acclaim given his subpar season? Is Jamal Agnew an underrated surprise coming out of Jacksonville?

Notable players on bye week include Matthew Stafford, Cooper Kupp, Melvin Gordon, Javonte Williams, Darrelle Henderson and Odell Beckham Jr.

Welcome in Slumpbusters! On this edition of the Slumpbuster Fantasy Football Podcast our special guest is Chris McConnell of the Roto Bros Podcast. Chris, Ju-Ju and Drew recap week eight of the NFL and what fantasy owners should know heading into the rest of the season with several key injuries.

Quarterback: Kyler Murray has been electric throughout all of 2021. However, in the Thursday Night Football game against the Packers Murray injured his ankle. According to reports, Murray could be sidelines for 1-3 weeks. Jameis Winston on the other hand will be out the remainder of the season after suffering a ACL tear against his former team the Buccaneers. Who are some quarterbacks that can step in for these guys in your starting lineup? How worried are we about the struggling Patrick Mahomes and Justin Herbert? Should you trade Jalen Hurts now following his first truly bad game of the season?

Running Backs: This segment is dominated by the biggest injury to the biggest star back. Derrick Henry suffered a broken foot that will likely keep him out the remainder of the regular season and potentially a Titans playoff run. Henry will be replaced by a tandem of Adrian Peterson and Jeremy McNichols. Will either Peterson or McNichols be worth owning out of Tennessee? Who is the lead back in the Eagles backfield, Kenneth Gainwell, Boston Scott or Jordan Howard? Is Mark Ingram worth playing against the Falcons?

Wide Receivers: Calvin Ridley shocked everyone when he delivered a cryptic message about stepping away from football for his mental health. There is a lot of speculation regarding Ridley's future in the NFL. Is there a wide receiver that can replace his production in Atlanta? Is Julio Jones a Top-36 receiver without Henry in the offense? Does Jarvis Landry have anything left in the tank?

We close by giving some DST streamers of the week. If you have any fantasy questions, feel free to comment below. Enjoy the show!

Welcome in Slumpbusters! In this edition of the Slumpbuster Podcast, Kyle and Ju-Ju talk some of the biggest headlines in the NFL, MLB and College Football.

We start off today's podcast on a somber note as we give our reaction to the tragic Henry Ruggs III story. Ruggs was involved in a high-speed motor accident that resulted in the death of a 23-year old woman. Ruggs has since been charged with felony DUI resulting in death. Following the incident the Las Vegas Raiders made the decision to immediately release Ruggs. Ruggs posted bail on Thursday. #HenryRuggsIII

Our next topic is on a cheerier note as we discuss the Atlanta Braves winning the World Series. We give our flowers to the Braves as we discuss them breaking the long talked about Atlanta sports curse. The Braves were led by World Series MVP Jorge Soler, Austin Reilly and longtime first basemen Freddie Freeman. What does the future hold for the Braves following their first World Series victory since 1995? (12:00) #Braves

The NFL Trade Deadline was this past Tuesday and while it was a quiet deadline there were still some notable stories. Von Miller was traded to Los Angeles, will the Rams 'all-in' approach continue to prove successful? Odell Beckham Jr. was not traded, what is his future with the Cleveland Browns? What can we expect moving forward between Deshaun Watson, the Houston Texans and Miami Dolphins following his refusal to settle his civil suits to aid a trade to Miami? (19:45) #NFLNews

Before diving back into NFL topics the guys give their reaction to the first College Football Playoff poll that was released this past Sunday. The CFP committee ranked the teams as follows 1. Georgia Bulldogs, 2. Alabama Crimson Tide, 3. Michigan State Spartans and 4. Oregon Ducks. On the outside looking in were the Ohio State Buckeyes, Oklahoma Sooners and Cincinnati Bearcats. Can any of these teams, including Wake Forrest, make a legitimate run at the National Championship? (36:30) #CollegeFootball

Lastly the guys give their week nine NFL Predictions on the following five games (53:00):

Cleveland Browns (+2.5) @ Cincinnati Bengals

Minnesota Vikings (+6.0) @ Baltimore Ravens

Arizona Cardinals (+2.0) @ San Francisco 49ers

Green Bay Packers (+7.5) @ Kansas City Chiefs

Tennessee Titans (+7.0) @ Los Angeles Rams

Will Aaron Rodgers absence affect the Packers as they travel to Arrowhead? Will Kyler Murray suit up against the Niners? How will the TItans generate offense without Derrick Henry?

Enjoy the Show!
