On September 6th, 2021, security cameras captured Christopher Skinner - paralyzed veteran, father of twins, chess enthusiast - wheeling toward the Yorkshire Parkway community pool. He was there to meet someone for his regular Monday morning chess game. That person never appeared on camera.
Two weeks earlier, Christopher had confronted his pastor at Solid Rock Ministries about staying away from his wife and children. Now, his wheelchair lay at the bottom of a pool, and a three-paragraph police report would close the case in just two days.
Through police reports, dispatch logs, and newly obtained 911 calls, Episode 3 of "The Signature" examines the morning Christopher Skinner died, the investigation that followed, and the disturbing pattern at Solid Rock Ministries that would only emerge three years later, after another death shocked the congregation.
From Myrtle Beach, South Carolina, this is "The Signature."

Episode 2 - “The Nanny"
In Episode 2 of The Signature, we investigate the haunting parallels between two women - Ali Williams and Mica Francis - both drawn into JP Miller's world through his charismatic presence at Solid Rock Ministries.
What began as a seemingly innocent arrangement - a teenage babysitter helping a pastor's family - would ultimately end in tragedy.
Through court documents, security footage, and firsthand accounts, we uncover how a pattern of control and manipulation that began in the 1990s would continue for decades, leading to an FBI investigation and Mica's death in April 2024. But as federal investigators dig deeper, another mysterious death draws their attention - one that occurred just two weeks after a confrontation with JP Miller.
From assault charges in 1998 to surveillance equipment discovered in 2024, Episode 2 reveals the devastating consequences of unchecked power within a religious community.

Episode 4 - ‘The Fisherman'
Episode 4: 'The Fisherman' - we examine the morning of April 27th, 2024, through the eyes of fisherman Johnnie Jacobs.
His testimony about what he heard that morning - a faint cry lasting several minutes, followed by a single gunshot - would raise disturbing questions about Mica Francis's final moments at Lumber River State Park.
Through police reports, witness statements, and newly uncovered evidence, we'll trace the events leading up to that morning - from the GPS trackers found on Mica's car, to the restraining order filed on March 11th, to the divorce papers served just 48 hours before her death.
What we discovered was a paper trail of desperate warnings that would force investigators to take a closer look at Solid Rock Ministries.
