Parks Growing up, Kizzy knew two things, one, that she’d earn a PhD. in psychology and two, that she’d become an entrepreneur. As a kid, she’d clean golf balls located in an alley behind her friend Ria’s house in Danville, IL. Take them home, clean them, save the good ones for her grandmother Klump, an avid golfer, and resell the others through a fence to golfers. She used the money to buy FUNYUNS® and Nutty Bars.Fast forward, while finishing a PhD. in Industrial/Organizational Psychology, she was a Graduate Research Fellow for the Defense Equal Opportunity Management Institute (DEOMI) located at Patrick Air Force Base (now Patrick Space Force). Weeks before graduating she was asked by the director of research to remain as a contractor. She had no idea what that meant and never expected to form K. Parks Consulting, Inc, directly out of graduate school. Today, she has over $50M in Federal Government Contract Awards for her three Federal companies, K.
