Somebody Has to Step Up
This episode looks at broken and “on the mend” relationships through the eyes of the sibling experience. The discussion also delves into the perception of children aa it pertains to their parents’ lack of communication. Andre and Anitra investigate the importance of self awareness and meeting people where they are. Through recognizing each other's needs, we facilitate healing and wholeness. In order to focus on managing expectations in relationships, we first have to acknowledge that somebody has to step up. Laugh and cry with brother and sister co-hosts as they retell the experiences that taught them to step up. Recognize the value of scars and the importance of dealing with the brokenness. Anitra and Andre discuss how the healing process requires deep work that will relieve the pressure rather than continue further damage.

- “Am I inviting another disappointment?” ~ Anitra
