Pastor John Sherwood has been preaching for 35 years. Last Friday, he was reading the Gospel in London, when he was arrested and dragged off to a police station. Incredibly, he was kept overnight and released the following morning without charge. Someone flagged down the police and claimed that the pastor had said something that was homophobic. John tells his side of the story.

Richie is joined by Yorkshire parents Leonora and Liam and also by Arizona Sheriff David Hathaway.
Leonora reached out to the show to tell us about her three year-old son Orion. Orion has cerebral palsy and before the lockdown he was receiving the help he needs from the NHS, to further his development. It stopped during lockdown.
His therapy is available again, but the specialists involved insist on wearing masks. This presents a serious communication problem for the boy. Leonora and husband Liam discuss it with Richie.
David Hathaway has been Sheriff of Santa Cruz County Arizona, since January 1st this year. David has ruffled a lot of feathers because of his pragmatic and humane approach to the pandemic. David refuses to fine the people of Santa Cruz for not wearing masks or for not adhering to social distancing rules. He also refused to mandate covid vaccines for his staff.
