Ted Style Speaker

As I listened with bated breath as Chris Anderson the curator of Ted delivered training on what makes a great Ted speaker.

Just what makes TED speakers different after all we’ve got a market that is saturated with all types of speakers some great speakers some self-proclaimed expert so what could we possibly learn from a TED style talk?

Over the last decade my belief is that Ted has raised the bar of what is expected in presentations and speeches. It is no longer good enough to present and be a boring speaker.

PowerPoint speakers are now expected to have charisma, humour and a brilliant talk structure

What I like about Ted talks is you have 18 minutes to deliver a high impact message.

When company leaders and CEOs take on this delivery style their speaking is more memorable, more inspiring and more than likely to influence change.
