Fast forward to just a couple of weeks ago, she listened to my meditation on this podcast, Love Your Body Again (episode 313), and she received a message from her body during that that changed her trajectory forever. Dear Postpartum Mom: What I Wish I'd Known.
The Postpartum Coach Podcast
06/14/24 • 18 min
Did you know there is a space between all your thoughts and feelings, and YOU? The part of you that can notice, witness all the thinking and such, but just be with it? Not engage, just observe? I wish I had known that, and in this letter to myself (which is to you, too!) I go into details of what I mean/paint the picture. I hope it helps open your mind to a way of being during postpartum that is different, and possibly what you need, or at the least: helpful.

Postpartum Emotional Breakdowns + Layering Emotions
The Postpartum Coach Podcast
04/12/19 • 25 min
Sometimes, without realizing it, we don't fully processes the emotions we feel throughout a given day, week, month, or longer. Especially during the postpartum period.
The relationship between one emotion we feel in one situation, to another emotion, to another, sometimes can compound to the point where we explode, break down, and feel so not-ourselves and out of control.
I believe this happens because we 'layer' our emotions rather than know how to fully process them. Especially if we are in the midst of Postpartum Depression, Postpartum Anxiety, or just general postpartum struggles.
In this episode I'll go deeper into examples of what Layering Emotions looks like, why it's causing us more pain and suffering,....specifically, why we are being so up and down towards our husband, kids, and others.... and what we can do about it.
These three tools will change your life. I hope you'll join us.
