The Optimized Store Owner Show - 7 Tips To Grow Your Local Business With YouTube | Ep 118
play

09/23/19 • -1 min

I think YouTube is a platform. One of the Social Media platform that often gets overlooked by business owners. And we think that you can definitely benefit if you're a local business by using YouTube. And the number one thing here that we have is to make sure that your profile is completely filled out.

7 Tips To Grow Your Local Business With YouTube

  1. Make sure your profile is completely filled out. This is number one because it really should be a no brainer. Google owns YouTube and videos now pop up when you search on Google, so please, please make sure you fill out your profile completely.
  2. Add your website link to the description of the videos that you create. If you are a local business owner and creating content for your local area, make sure to use that name in the title. I.e. How to find a good chiropractor in Allen, Texas.
  3. Be able to consistently put out great content. In order to grow your YouTube channel you need to provide great content often. People won’t subscribe to your channel if you have a handful of videos you posted the same day a month ago.
  4. Create content your local audience will benefit from. Think about those questions that your potential local customers might be searching for and create videos to answer those.
  5. Thumbnails are a game changer. Although, it’s funny, we didn’t have a clue when we uploaded our first videos that they would make such a difference we got thousands of views on some tutorial videos we created. Overall, a thumbnail should have some kind of face on it and should take up a good 1⁄3 of the thumbnail.
  6. Research trends and follow trends in your industry. It’s easier to ride a wave than it is to create your own.
  7. Get software like Tubebuddy or VidIQ, they will be able to give you insight and tips that you didn’t know was possible. I.e. Searching for keywords that are relevant, searched a ton, and not competitive.

The Optimized Store Owner Show - How to Create an Irresistible Lead Magnet for Your Local Business | Ep 176
play

11/02/20 • 24 min

In this week’s episode we talk about the biggest asset in business, time. In the early days we wasted A LOT of time, because we didn’t know better. We thought you had to sit down with someone for an hour to talk about your business and then listen to theirs so you can build a relationship with them. Although that is true, the fallacy is that it wasn’t the only way.

We’re talking about:

  1. The three things you should stop doing so you can save time and grow your business
  2. How we wasted FIVE HOURS with one person and how you can avoid it too.
  3. The exact step-by-step process we put in place to never get on a phone call or meeting with someone who isn’t qualified.

If you’re a local business owner who wants to generate more qualified appointments online we created a free training to show you our proven three step process. Watch the training

It was because we failed and had to find so many solutions in our business that we discovered our Leads Accelerator Process.

The Optimized Store Owner Show - 3 Steps to take your service based business to success | Ep 144
play

03/23/20 • -1 min

Building a business that is able to scale is one of the hardest things to do. We could argue that starting a business is tough, but taking it to that next level is where true expertise is needed and most never make it. But what do you need to do to take your business to the next level and scale? In today’s episode we talk about the three pillars that are needed to help you bring in a consistent flow of leads and scale WITHOUT working more hours.

  1. You have to know your audience and you must get your messaging right. Think about your customer avatar, we know the demographics, everyone knows that, but what you really care about are the psychographics. After we have created your customer avatar we need to find out what your CPL, CPA, and LTV are. This allows you to make decisions that are appropriate for your business.
  2. Content creation + Automation. Those who make the most content are not the most effective, but those who make the most effective content consistently are the most effective. Messaging is hard, but when you figure it out, everything becomes clearer. This is the stage of your business where you are going to need to get out of your comfort zone and create videos. We will discuss the three types of content you need to create and how they work. This stage is also the automation stage, if you do the same tasks over and over again and it can be automated, you should. Time is one of the biggest things holding you back from scaling.
  3. Numbers; you need to know your numbers. If you don’t know how many leads are coming in, it’s going to be hard for you to find out how to scale. In the same vein, if one area of your business is driving 90% of the revenue, you need to know that.

If you are interested in using the Leads Accelerator system in your business, you can schedule a free strategy session here: https://apply.bitbranding.co/

5 Optometry Marketing Tips | Ep 116

The Optimized Store Owner Show

play

09/09/19 • -1 min

Thanks for tuning into another episode of the Marketing Natives. We are going to break down five optometry marketing tips for you. We're going to talk about search engine marketing we're going to talk about video social media marketing and a few other tips.

  1. Search Engine Marketing - Getting yourself on the map is crucial for a local business. You will want to implement tactics that involve creating content and add setting up local citations.
  2. Have a clear and concise message + a website that converts Having a website is step 1, making sure it’s the best is step 2. Your website matters, it is something your potential customers are going to use before they ever even give you a call or walk in the door. If the website doesn’t convert or isn’t user friendly, you won’t get the business. The guy up the street has a little bit better of a website and has a simple scheduling software, he will get the business over you.
  3. Reputation management - online reviews and what people say about you will not only help you rank locally in search, but it’s where your customers will do the selling for you. 80+% of people who purchase online are going to read reviews.. And think about it, would you just go to an eye doctor on a limb, probably not!
  4. Videos! If you have listened to our podcast in the past few years you know that we are huge advocates for video and to lead with video. A few ideas: start a weekly or bi-weekly series about tips or answer questions from your followers. Look at video as a way to keep top of mind, build brand, and also get more customers.
  5. Social Media Marketing - When you have a video that is already doing well, say it has quite a few people who like it and a couple thousand views... that’s a good indication that if you put some money behind it that it would only do better. Think about social media marketing as a way to add gasoline to a fire. You cannot outspend bad marketing, so please make sure to focus on quality content first and then put advertising behind it.

11/06/18 • -1 min

In this episode we talk about The Top 5 Software Tools We Use In Our Business And You Should Too:

  1. Slack - Hands down the best messaging and complete project and communication software. Slack was just getting started when we started the company and it allowed us to live in two different states to start the company.
  2. Sumo - The full suite. We use Sumo to collect email addresses and grow our website traffic. We use AppSumo to find out about the latest and greatest new tech softwares at a deal. Lastly, we use KingSumo to create viral giveaways.
  3. Instapage - This is the best (In our opinion) landing page software that allows designers to create beautiful landing pages and help non-creatives to use a template and generate leads. Instapage integrates with almost everything you can think of and allows you to update and change the page on the go easily. http://instapg.es/ntC9g
  4. Line2 - allows us to have business phone lines. We can also use them to send text messages. They even have a Mac app to help you respond right from your computer.
  5. ClickUp - This Free tool has been amazing for us. ClickUp is a project management tool that allows you to visually see, work, collaborate on all the projects in your company. The capabilities for this tool are endless.
