In this episode, we are joined by Jennifer Garcia to talk about her early introduction to being a "mom" to her 4 siblings that were in foster care. She talks about her family history, emotional abuse of being raised by a narcissistic mother and a father who couldn't help much because he was in an inebriated state due to alcoholism. Jennifer felt the family home at age 17, shortly after that, her family was homeless and 5 of her siblings were in foster care. She knew she wanted to take custody, and at only 20 years old, she took the responsibility of raising 4 of her siblings. The road was not easy, she had a lot to prove to them, others and most importantly, herself. **warning; there is talk about emotional, physical and sexual abuse, and domestic violence.**
