I've always been fascinated by toys and collecting. My comic book collection, my growing Funko collection, but, most of all, I had a huge collection of action figures. Setting up the figures to tell stories was so engrossing.

It's strange that I haven't gotten into toy photography, right? Well, it has interested me but I've never fully committed.

About My Guest

My name is Anthony Mattea. I live in the California bay area. I have always loved photography but 4 years ago I decided to pursue it on a more professional basis. I started out with wildlife photography and then lockdown happened. My love for comics and movies naturally led me to toy photography. It's opened up a whole new world of creative possibilities.

See Anthony's work on his Instagram and TikTok accounts.
