The Love Fruit Podcast - A Podcast For Raw Vegan Fruitarians
03/01/23 • 61 min
Jill Swyers has worked in the catering industry, managed restaurants and was professionally involved in food and beverage for the hotel industry for over 40 years. She has worked in Greece, South Africa, Portugal, Austria, Switzerland and France. Jill also had her own London based catering company, "Hungry Hampers", providing typical cuisine for corporate events, weddings and formal picnics such as Ascot, Glyndebourne and Henley.
For several years, Jill suffered a low energy level and she felt debilitated. She was diagnosed as suffering from Chronic Fatigue Syndrome, Fibromyalga, Hypoglycaemia, Candida and Reynauds disease. She believed her condition could be directly linked to her diet, which is when she started looking seriously at the impact of diet on health. To lose weight, she tried food combining and lost 20Kg (44lb) over a period of six months. Reading about Aloe Vera juice and its energising properties, she started to drink the juice and noticed an increase in vitality. To increase her chlorophyll and oxygen uptake, she included wheatgrass in her regime.
Having treated herself through a combination of diet, exercise and alternative therapies, she began to study nutrition, with particular emphasis on the science of living and organic foods.
Jill is now a qualified Hippocrates Health Educator and Hippocrates Ambassador and devotes her time to teaching and demonstrating the preparation of living foods as a way to achieve optimum health.

111. Mark Huberman - Born And Raised On A Raw Vegan Diet

09/12/22 • 93 min
Attorney Mark Huberman is the President of the National Health Association and Editor of Health Science magazine. He has adhered to a whole food, plant-based vegan diet since birth in 1951 and credits his excellent health to the pioneering vision of his parents, Max and Ruth Huberman, who had the foresight to recognize the profound benefits of this lifestyle long before most others. He became a member of its Board of Directors when he was 18 years old and was elected its youngest President in 1977 and served two consecutive two-year terms.

Matt Bennett is a Holistic Health Educator with a passionate focus on detoxification and raw living foods.
In his own words:
"I grew up with several common health issues including asthma, eczema, constant colds/flus, congestion and depression, anxiety and toxic thinking.
I grew up believing I wasn’t good enough, smart enough or capable of having what I wanted. I had constant negative self-talk and feelings of insignificance playing in my head for years. To put it simply, I had lost my connection with my Intuition, God and Nature.
After coming across the concept of a raw vegan diet and lifestyle in 2011 and implementing it in my own life, I’ve experienced all of these conditions virtually disappear.
For the first time since I could remember, I felt a real and powerful connection between my body, mind and spirit. I suddenly had the awareness to see the internal and external obstructions that were limiting my true potential.
This inspired me to embark on an endless learning journey and to share my passion for raw foods and natural living through my YouTube channel – Raw Intuition, my coaching services and teaching raw food classes.
I am a certified Detoxification Specialist through the International School of Detoxification, and certified Raw Food Chef and Educator through the Graff Academy of Raw Food Education"

78. Genesis Sunfire - Fruitarian, Liquidarian, Breatharian And Back To Fruitarian Vegan
The Love Fruit Podcast - A Podcast For Raw Vegan Fruitarians
10/15/21 • 121 min
In this interview I speak with Genesis Sunfire. Genesis became one of the most controversial characters in the alternative health world when he began to claim to be a breatharian.
In this interview we discuss his journey from being a professional Rugby player who did not pay much attention to nutrition to an almost over night transition to becoming a fruitarian, then liquidarian and then his experiment with fasting which led him to becoming labelled as a breatharian.
He no longer supports or encourages people to practise breatharianism (and says he never did) and is currently on a vegan and high fruit diet. He publicly state that he believed those involved in promoting breatharianism were involved in a scam and were only doing it for money.
This interview should not be seen as a promotion for breatharianism and Genesis himself does not support the idea. It is my position that no human can live on prana, breath or cosmic energy and that people claiming to be breatharian are misrepresenting the truth. Genesis maintains that he spent 2 years without food or juice in this interview which I personally do not believe is accurate.
Irish hunger strikers in the 1980s died or where hospitalised in less than 2 months without food and some were injured for life as a result. Around 9 million people per year die from hunger. More people die from anorexia than any other mental health issue. This is a dangerous delusion that many people fall prey to. If you are struggling with eating disorders or know anyone who is, please seek professional help immediately.
