The Lisa Pezik Show - Podcast 131: Why Vanity Metrics Kill and Intentions Breathe Life Into Your Business

Podcast 131: Why Vanity Metrics Kill and Intentions Breathe Life Into Your Business

01/17/20 • 19 min

The Lisa Pezik Show

Connection, understanding, community, results, this is what you and your ideal clients want, but why don’t we always get there?

Vanity metrics. I want you to stop worrying about size - the size of your list, the number of likes, and if you don’t get selected for the things you want because of it. It may be a universal sign that it’s not a right fit if the intentions aren’t clear.

Business is built with quality over quantity. I never want you questioning if you’re worthy or enough.

Have a listen to my latest podcast about:

  • What’s the right size
  • When it’s the right time to add an asset like a course or podcast
  • How to name your course
  • How to set clear intentions so your potential customers build trust in you, and your product or service.

Episode 130: Learning the Art of Connecting in Your Business and Life

Ginger Johnson doesn’t mess around with the “N” word. She’d rather teach you the learnable skill of connecting vs. networking.

She’s a world class connector, author, and speaker. On my latest podcast we talk about:

1. Busting the myth that entrepreneurship is lonely.

2. Explaining that your WHY is your most important piece of connection.

3. Understanding how depth and choice are important.

4. How to “get what you came for” when it comes to events, and masterminds.

Episode 132: Navigating Your Next Move With People, Products, and Proof

Blue Monday is a term for the third Monday in January.

I honestly had no idea this was a “thing” and it prompted me to record a “you can’t pour from an empty cup” episode.

If you’re battling mental health, I honour you.

If you’re broke, frustrated, or overwhelmed in business, know it’s a choice and you can change it.

In this podcast, I talk about the process of:

  • What to build first
  • What to invest and re-invest in first in business
  • Why understanding sales is vital
