The Last Show with David Cooper
The show about nothing rolls into town again - this time with Marcus Peverill in the guest seat. Marcus travelled south to be part be part of the show and our boy is turning 21 soon, having spent over a year trying to be a comedian while juggling two jobs. Celeste (David's Social Media Intern) happens to be friends with Marcus and she has a bunch of questions for him, which David tackles one by one. Among other things, Marcus reveals that he has no interest in putting it up Hitler's back burner. C*nts, an absent father, Dr. Pepper, Miranda's new German Womanizer and clits reveling under pleasured air just about kept me in my seat - until the phone rang. And guess who was back? - Who else could it be other than Tony?! He wasn't going to stay away for long, was he? After we learn about Tony's exploits in Athens, David tries to get Marcus to open up about his Dad followed briefly by some 'women-logic' from New Jersey. Miranda gets on the Find-Sanchez case and gets her browser fired up while David brings down the curtains for this week. As a closing note, Marcus plugs the shows he's got lined up for the next few weeks. That's me, Sam from a backpacker's den in the Far East rating this show with 3 stars or maybe 3.5! - that went alright, I think.

Episode 64: Dan Linley, pt. 5 (2018/03/08)

The comedian Dan Linley is the stand-in guest. The man wastes no time in getting things rolling by narrating the reason why he came in late - who would have guessed? - he got held up with some hazardous poopyactive waste that refused to slide! Just the kind of entree you need to sit back and enjoy the show. Dan is irked further when he is asked about his foot fungals. After David makes a rather pointed comment about his brother, Dan wonders why he always tries to rile people up. At this point, I'm thinking - where is Tony when you need him?! But it's Sam and Justin who call in, followed by fellow comedian David Roth. Porcupines, Dan-edonia and a phonetic lesson keep things moving. Dan suddenly blows his top after watching someone litter and he steps out to see if he can get a whiff of Mr. Inflamed Testicles. Dan then tries to establish his handwash/pee-streaming credentials. For all you know, with a bit of work he could have his own Netflix show! Or maybe not - the man is too caught up trying to establish that he is not a misogynist. Dan mentions that he has some shows lined up and the two sign off to a Stones track. That's me, Sam from Singapore rating this episode with 4 stars! And if I'm ever at the Courtyard by Marriott, I'll have something to smile about - that went kinda well, I think.

Episode 66: Tracy Nguyen, pt. 3 (2018/03/22)

Tracy Nguyen is back on the show for the third time - sober and steady. David kicks things off by addressing her bladder - don't think Tracy saw it coming but she dodges it well. Tracy feels she needs to be socializing more - well if you ask me, spending a Thursday evening on a show about nothing is a pretty decent start! Celeste calls in and Tracy shares some insight on Asian ways - which I thought was kinda true. David reveals his nurturing side and tries to help Celeste learn the ropes of becoming a comic. I then hear Kimchi being mentioned in a rather poopy circumstance, which wasn't exactly music to my ears cos I had one earlier and will be hitting the sack after this. Our new Womanizer fan then calls in and I don't know if it's her or some weird Womanizer side effect they didn't put on the box - she sounded slightly off it this week. The show then truly comes alive with a call from the middle of the Mediterranean - it's Jamie Bond masquerading as Johnny English - a.k.a Tony from London! Tracy tells David that he should consider having Tony on the show - that'll be some riot! Before the curtains go down, Tracy reveals that she has some shows coming up in April. That's me, Sam from a hostel not too far from the Vietnamese border (with Cambodia) rating this show with 3.5 stars - that went quite smooth and easy, I think.
