The Inspiring Talk

Imagine, you are at the peak of your career, you are the top Radio Jockey, just had your first baby, you had planned your future, your kid’s future and life is almost perfect.

Then all of a sudden, your life starts going downhill. You are diagnosed with a rare auto-immune disease, called Myasthenia Gravis. And it is just the beginning of what you are about to face. You get discovered with Cancer, you lose your voice. And, the doctor says, You can never go back to the radio and speak again.

This is the story of my guest for this episode C Pallavi Rao Narvekar. Pallavi was a very popular radio jockey with Radio Mirchi. She is a TEDx speaker and an author of the book ICU love stories- this is the book that Pallavi has written when she was admitted in ICU.

Pallavi has created something called a health resume which states she had 6 major surgeries, 48 radiation therapies, 8 ICU admissions and 6 times on ventilator over the period of 10 years.

If there is one of the most powerful stories on hope I have ever heard, this has to be the one. This is the story of the real Iron lady who fought through all the odds to prove her doctors wrong with the power of her mind and never-ending determination.
