EP 41: Meditation: How to Attend to What Needs Us In the Present - Shifting Our Attention with Great Intention
06/14/20 • 54 min
This is a meditation for today. With all that is going on in the world, it is easy to lose focus, to feel overwhelmed, and feel enveloped by chaos.
In this meditation we will delve beneath the choppy surface of the ocean of life and connect with stillness and calm.
We will notice where our attention is being pulled, practice mindful compassionate awareness, and make an intentional shift.
Attention is something to be paid, and yet there are so many forces competing for our attention and making a grab at this valuable resource which is our time.
We all have the same 24 hours in a day. How can we unlock our personal power to make the necessary shifts for this most valuable resource?
In this excerpt from the LIVE Circle of Insight recorded on June 10th, 2020, you will experience a meditation for exactly this.
You'll hear a brief introduction as well as a guided meditation practice. For maximum benefit, listen in a quiet space where you can set aside time to focus on this and this alone.
Write down your takeaways and stay present with them all week.
