In this episode, Shaun and I discuss all things that relate to the concept of ‘idols’.

We also talk about the nuanced undertones to this concept of idolising, and the subtle discernments to be made between idolatry, reverence, mimicry, and modelling.

Shaun and I also touch on some of the reasons why people may feel an urge to idolise certain concepts or people, the possible pitfalls of blind idolatry, and how much of this may stem from the pressure of expectation or felt need for a semblance of control.
