One of the more common “psychological” reasons many Real Estate Agents don’t or won’t ever turn the act of Prospecting into a regular routine or habit is the underlying need for “Instant Gratification”. Real Estate Agents have been conditioned to believe that the ONLY reason they should make Prospecting Calls is merely to find a willing Buyer or Seller. Unfortunately this same belief tends to “Backfire” when their random Prospecting efforts don’t produce the expected results or “Instant Gratification”.
