The Hotwash with CJ
(Tune in to The Next Mission Radio with your host Daniel Mays) Join us as we go on air with Mr. Curtis Jones (Mr.VA/Gunny) as we dive into some of the issues that surround VA disabilities and ratings. We will be discussing issues and simple things that veterans miss when going to sign for their ratings. Also we will be discussing some other programs that are available for veterans such as the VFW, DAV, American Legion just to name a few. Curtis Jones is a retired Marine Gunny who joined into the Marine Corps in 1977 during his time in service until his end of service in 1998. Once out of the military he held multiple jobs ranging from work as a security consultant all the way up to working for the FBI and everything else in between. Along with some of the jobs that the Gunny has held he has also volunteered his time and efforts to give back to the Veteran Community by taking part in VFW Post 304, DAV CHAPTER 3, AMERICAN LEGION POST 141, FRA BRANCH 24, and AMVETS. "I work for the DOD, but my life's mission is to help any and all Vet's that I can. I believe in God and Country in that order and I am willing to die for both! I have always stood up for the underdog and will continue to do so! I am a combat Vet and a wounded warrior even tho you can't see my wounds. I have been in two helicopter crashes. Ran over a landmine in Bosnia, shot in the chest but by the Grace of God my vest took the round, almost taken out by an IED also in Bosnia."-Curtis Jones (Gunny) So please join us on the air to talk with myself and Mr. Curtis to discuss VA ratings and any questions about the process and local VFW, DAV, and American legions.
