The Homie Mike Bagford is back for the second week in a row and this time he brings along his Patreon pick! Thanks to him, Chris and Anita get to see Goodfellas for the very first time! The movie gave us a lot to talk about, so the tangents are minimal, but the conversation was still fun. We laugh at bad acting, the Halle Berry Catwoman movie comes up for some reason, I try and keep Chris and Anita from incriminating themselves on the microphone and Anita really hated one of the main people in this movie and I find it hilarious. Since there is a subset of people who want to try and erase, bury and withhold our history from the public, all month we are watching Black films, by Black directors about or inspired by real events in Black history. What better way to start than with what could be debated as being Spike Lee's greatest achievement, Malcolm X. We couldn't cover this film without PJ, so he is back with us this week as well.
