The Thursday NHL schedule begins with the Boston Bruins listed as a big home favorite against the Buffalo Sabres. The Sabres have completely fallen apart in recent weeks, but Brian is leery of laying the big price with Boston.
The Penguins visit the Islanders in the second half of a home and home on Thursday with New York favored. Cam points out that these teams seem to alternate wins and since the Islanders took the first half, he likes the Penguins on Thursday.
The Columbus Blue Jackets are heavily favored at home against the Detroit Red Wings and Brian and Cam are passing on this game.
The Florida Panthers are big favorites at home against the Anaheim Ducks. The Ducks have been going over the total on a regular basis, but Brian thinks this game will be lower scoring.
The red-hot Carolina Hurricanes are favored at home against the slumping Philadelphia Flyers. This looks like a mismatch and Cam is on the Hurricanes in this one.
Two struggling teams meet in Nashville as the Predators host the Canucks. Vancouver has lost three straight, while Nashville has dropped five in a row. The Predators are big favorites at home in this one, but Brian and Cam like the Canucks in this one.
The struggling Calgary Flames visit the St. Louis Blues with the Blues favored at home. Cam is taking a shot on the underdog Flames.
The Colorado Avalanche visit the Minnesota Wild and the line on this game is a pick. Brian and Cam think the odds on this game are a trap and Cam is not falling into taking the Avalanche. He is making a small play on Minnesota.

Boston is a road favorite at the New Jersey Devils, and Brian said it is Bruins or nothing in this contest.
The Red Wings are favored at home against Ottawa in a battle between two struggling teams. Brian likes the Senators on the road in this one and Cam is on board. This is the first game back at home for Detroit after a West Coast road trip.

The Dallas Stars have won three straight and they are 8-1-1 in their last ten games and they host the Vancouver Canucks on Tuesday. The Canucks have been a hard team to figure out, as they have been up and down all season. Cam likes the Stars but is leery of the price.

The Ottawa Senators have won three straight games, but they are listed as road underdogs in Columbus on Monday. Cam points out that the Senators have been a live dog recently and Cam is considering the Senators.

The Pittsburgh Penguins are slight home favorites on Monday as they host the Calgary Flames. The Penguins have stayed afloat without Sidney Crosby, while the Flames have struggled for most of the season. Brian and Cam are passing on this one.
The Minnesota Wild visit the New York Rangers in a pick’em game. Brian points out that the Wild have been an over team and oddsmakers have taken notice. The total on this game is 6.5 and Cam points out that it is tougher to take the over on the 6.5.
Nashville is a slight favorite at home as they host the St. Louis Blues. Cam said that Nashville is a train wreck and one of the most disappointing teams in the league. This is the back-end of a home-and-home, and there is bad blood between the teams as Nashville lost Viktor Arvidsson to a cross check from St. Louis’ Robert Bortuzzo. Cam is looking at taking the Predators in a revenge spot on Monday night.
