We’re back with another John Carpenter classic, and that would be 1982's chilly creature feature, THE THING -- starring everyones favorite Kurt Russell (and his beard) as a bad-ass helicopter pilot fighting a shapeshifting entity in Alaska... err, Antarctica. This is our second selection from Lonnie's Board, a first time-watch for both of us (Stanley had only ever seen half of it) and you bet your flamethrowers we're more than heated to slash it up and bleed it out for all of you gorehounds, as it somehow fits right in with our "Love Hurts" theme... we suppose?
