In this interview Brandon and I get to speak with Upland Wildlife Biologist- Mr. Todd Bogenschutz from the Iowa Department of Natural Resources. Todd explains the history of many upland species in the midwest, and then provides an update on how their populations are faring today by providing an explanation of the Iowa 2020 Roadside Survey results. Todd also explains how hunters and landowners can maximize their hunting habitats for more birds, and what it would take for our country to return to the glory days of these species on the midwestern landscape.
