Transcript

"From a young age, we are taught that writing comes from our heads. Think of something to say. Write it down. Sit still. Don’t fidget. Use nice, controlled handwriting. Check for grammar and spelling mistakes. I get it. These are the fundamentals that we build from, and the discipline is useful. But it’s missing half the story: the wild half. We sense the world with our animal body. We store our experiences – the joy, the pain, the secrets – within that body.
