Ifundwomen Project
Every day, 600 women are raped in the U.S. and half of college women will experience some kind of sexual assault, with only 5% of incidents being reported. Over half of all rapes in the U.S. involve alcohol and women under age 24 are at the highest risk of alcohol-induced rape. Approximately 90 percent of college rapes perpetrated by an acquaintance of the victim involve alcohol.
Our specific mission in the U.S. is to partner with community-based organizations that help to prevent sexual violence against women, and by securing product placement in every establishment that serves alcohol. This means bars, breweries, restaurants, starting in college towns. Through this 3 part campaign we will help the establishments implement preventative measures, be sure that everyone has access to our nonalcoholic drinks, and in the cases where men or women have been involved in sexual assault, provide them with resources to get help, which will reduce subsequent violence.
