In Entry 16, Amy sits down with Lucy Sayah of PROJECT BLACKBIRD to discuss the project. From touring and screening the BLACKBIRD film (a short video about life in eating disorder treatment centers) throughout colleges in the United States, to providing a platform for those to discuss eating disorders and mental health conversation within underrepresented communities, their mission is to connect audiences of different communities to rid themselves of shame surrounding mental health. Lucy also discusses her personal experience with overcoming anorexia while attending Northwestern University and shares her own recovery tips.
