On this episode Deborah Fay interviews Rosemary Walters, the author of Biomagnetism Healing: Will It Work For You?. Walters explains biomagnetism, a therapy that uses static magnets placed in pairs on the body to balance pH and potentially alleviate a variety of health issues. She shares her personal journey with biomagnetism, which began after developing a tumor that reduced in size significantly after five biomagnetism treatments. Though Walters later chose traditional treatments as well, she attributes part of her recovery to biomagnetism.

Originally developed by Dr. Isaac Goiz Durán in Mexico, biomagnetism is widely practiced in Spanish-speaking countries but is still emerging in English-speaking regions. Walters, a former music teacher with a lifelong interest in holistic health, felt drawn to study biomagnetism due to its transformative effects on her own health. Now a certified practitioner, Walters treats clients both locally and remotely, even applying the therapy to animals.

Walters envisions biomagnetism as a versatile therapy that can complement conventional treatments, though it must be cautiously used alongside chemotherapy due to its detoxifying effects. With a goal to offer accessible healing, Walters hopes her book will help spread awareness about biomagnetism’s potential benefits for a variety of health conditions, from chronic pain and arthritis to emotional healing.
