• The Senior Circuit was also in the DFW area for the KitchenAid Senior PGA Championship, which also needed a playoff for Steve Stricker to claim his 6th Senior Major championship (7:51).
• The LPGA's Match Play event was in Las Vegas, where an international lineup was featured in the finale (9:54).
