A massive playoff in Mississippi on the PGA Tour, Halloween movies galore, and former LPGA Major Winner and current Solehim Cup Assistant Captain Angela Stanford on this week's Course of Life, hosted by Alex Lauzon and Michael Russell.

• The Sanderson Farms Championship ended in a five(!) man playoff and a 45-foot putt gave us some Fall golf drama in Mississippi (1:59).
• The LPGA was at The Colony in Texas for The Ascendent LPGA, where the ladies had their second straight wire-to-wire champion. Alex was on site early in the week and captured some interviews with players and caddies during the practice rounds (4:02).
• The TGL and ESPN announced when we'll see the new indoor arena golf events, coming in January on Tuesday evenings (6:10).
• Patrick Cantlay struck a cord after saying he wanted to get paid for appearing in the Ryder Cup, instead of the traditional donations to charities on player's behalfs (9:15).
• On our YouTube this week you'll find Alex's gambling adventures in Illinois, and this weekend you'll find out that Alex actually can make birdies on the course (11:07).
• The PGA Tour heads to Las Vegas for the Shriners Children's Open, where LPGA Superstar Lexi Thompson will try her luck agains the guys (12:54).
• In Tuned In, Michael is watching the 1963 version of The Haunting, and quickly followed it up with the 2000 remake, but capped it all off with the 2023 Disney film The Haunted Mansion. Meanwhile, Alex is enjoying the new Golden Bachelor on ABC (15:06).
• This week's guest is Angela Stanford, the 2018 Evian Champion, and now 2-time Solheim Cup Assistant Captain. • The inaugural Black Desert Championship in Utah brought stunning views of the rocky landscape, low scores, and a new winner. Attention for Alex and Michael was also on past guest Dylan Wu who had to sleep on a birdie putt to make the cut mid-tournament.
• The LPGA in full into their Asian swing as a Shanghai native took the win at the Buick LPGA Shanghai for her fourth LPGA victory.
• Alex caught up with US Olympians Taryn Kloth and Kristen Nuss as they visited Austin for a APV Tour event. The Beach Volleyball duo chatted about what it was like to play under the Eiffel Tower, how they beat the odds to make the Olympics in Paris, and why they think the new APV Tour is a game changer.
• In Tuned In, Alex is paying close attention to the upcoming Presidential election, while Michael is just keeping his head down for now.
• College Hockey is back! The guys' alma mater returned to action and is looking good, and this also means the NHL is back and the NBA is close behind.
• College Football's big weekend didn't disappoint, and Alex's Baby Bets continue to hit.
• In the NFL, the guys can't find much to be happy about as their teams continue to stink it up in the cellars. But Michael still wonders which undefeated team will lose first: the Vikings or the Chiefs.

Patty Ice earned his name and host Alex Lauzon cashed in as Patrick Cantlay repeated at the BMW Championship, putting himself in fine position to maybe repeat again with another FedEx Cup. Alex and co-host Michael Russell look at the rest of the firepower from the weekend, and who played themselves into the TOUR Championship (2:06).

Before the golf started at Wilmington CC, Tiger Woods and the rest of the Tour's elites had a secret meeting where they discussed the game's future, including a new "tech-heavy series," which Alex and Michael wonder at what that means for the future (7:47).

Those who were absent from the secret meeting included two international stars who are rumored to be headed to LIV, and who may be absent from the International Presidents Cup Team (10:14).

As for the court battle brewing between the PGA Tour and the LIV golf stars, we're going to have a little while longer before they even enter the courtroom (11:20).

The Tour rolls into East Lake for the TOUR Championship and the finale of the FedEx Cup, which includes the wacky staggered scoring system that is going to make placing bets for the weekend a little more difficult than usual (12:45).

In Tuned In, Michael got to experience some unique cinema at the Macon Film Festival, while Alex is enjoying a Seinfeld connection on his favorite reality show, "The Bachelorette" (15:52).

This week's guest is Jim Jeselnick, the Chairman of the Golf Heritage Society. Jim chats with Alex about his love for the game, how he got into the rich history of golf, and the exciting plans in store for the GHS's Hickory Open and annual conference (19:44).

Football preseason continues, and Alex is awfully excited to be among the game's most die-hard fans as he rolls into Las Vegas this weekend for the Patriots game (41:44).

• Cam Smith wrapped up his 2022 golfing season with a win in Australia, making us wonder if Smith is the best golfer of 2022 (1:34).
• The DP World Tour was in South Africa, and a new tour member with less than five starts under his belt was able to notch a victory (5:01).
• Tiger Woods is poised to return to the golf world this week (even if he postponed his return after we recorded this week's episode), and Alex believed Tiger could beat half of the field in the Hero World Challenge (9:36).
• In Tuned In, Michael is still busy with the puppy, while also watching the new Netflix docu-series, "Pepsi, Where's My Jet?" Meanwhile, Alex is catching up with last week's guest's newest Hallmark movie (14:10).
• This week's guest is golfer, model, and host Karol Priscilla, who chats with Alex about her love of burritos, tequila, and golfing all over the world (14:10).
• Alex's Run Your Pool picks for college football continue to disappoint (kind of like Ohio State this weekend), as he risks the first losing season in some time (40:31).
• In the NFL, Alex's picks aren't much better, and neither where the Thanksgiving games for Alex and Michael's favorite teams (43:12).
• Michael checks in on the podcast's alma mater, the Quinnipiac Bobcats, who are seeing success on the ice and the hardwood (45:12).

The #CoLPlaycation headed to Santa Ana Pueblo, New Mexico for a two day trip to golf paradise at the Hyatt Regency Tamaya. Hosts Alex Lauzon and Michael Russell recap their trip to northern New Mexico, rounds at Twin Warriors Golf Club, horseback riding at the Tamaya Stables, and more (1:44).

The Korn Ferry Tour was in action, handing out 25 PGA Tour cards at the Korn Ferry Tour Championship, where some heroics were made by pros to earn their way to the big game (11:59).

The LPGA's Dana Open presented by Marathon gave Mexican Gaby Lopez her third career victory after a blazingly low Sunday (13:27).

LIV Golf's Boston "tournament" included a lot of "firsts" for the fledgling tour, and friend of the podcast David Button was inside the ropes for the Thursday Pro-Am (14:01).

In Tuned In, Michael is all-in on the new Lord of the Rings show on Amazon Prime, while Alex was enjoying a unique spin on the weather from a New Mexico meteorologist (19:26).

This week's guest is PGA professional Derek Gutierrez, the General Manager and Director of Golf at Santa Ana Golf Corporation. Derek chats with Michael and Alex about his journey into the game, the uniqueness of golf in northern New Mexico, and his role on the PGA of America Board of Directors (22:06).

Football season is about to get started, and Alex and Michael are ready to either be full of joy or turmoil at their team's respective season's get started (44:22).

College football officially kicked off this weekend, and Alex is already issuing a formal apology for his picks for week 1 (45:57).
