Staying Driven, Staying True: Hannah Schaefer
03/18/21 • 38 min
On this episode I had an encouraging conversation with my new friend Hannah Schaefer. Hannah has been chasing after her musical dreams since she was a little kid and determined to reach her goals.
From winning many awards including the prestigious John Lennon Songwriting award, to making the move to Nashville, to opening for renowned Christian artists, to being signed to an Indie label and releasing numerous singles, Hannah keeps moving towards all God has laid in her path. I felt so inspired by Hannah’s grit and perseverance and I know you will be too!
Hannah has a new single dropping 3/19/21 "I Am Yours"

Sophie Lockhart: Writing Songs In Multiple Genres
On this episode I had a great conversation with my friend good Sophie Lockhart. Sophie is a worship leader, songwriter and artist based out of Pennsylvania. Sophie is a very skilled writer in multiple genres and on this episode we talked about how she continues to be creative while writing songs for the church, CCM and also in the singer/songwriter/folk genre. Last year she launched Parker Street which is more worship focused and continues releasing under her own name as well.
Sophie also shared the idea that we “crave what we eat” as the things we do are the things we crave, and that can carry through all aspects of our creative pursuits and lives in general. I know you are going to enjoy this interview. Sophie has an acoustic version of her latest single "I Wrote a Letter" releasing tomorrow 3/12/21 on all streaming platforms so make sure to check it out!

We also dove into how much relationships have been a major factor in Aaron’s growing songwriting catalog and impact.
If you write songs for your local church and/or want to write songs for the global church and wondering how, or you just want to be encouraged in a big way on your music journey, this is an episode you will not want to miss!
