
Ep. #12: Veggies- How to get more in your diet and love them, plus why you need them

Veggies are good for us so many reasons:
1. Big volume, low calories
2. Fiber to keep us feeling full longer, scrub our guts
3. Micronutrients, all those vitamins and minerals our bodies need to function optimally
4. Antioxidants, helping our bodies reverse the ill-effects of oxidation, which lead to inflammation, disease, etc
5. Water! Literally eating our hydration.
You might think you hate veggies, but really you only dislike the way you've had them prepared (canned veggies, I'm looking at you, gag!). Learn new ways to prepare them like grilling, roasting, or even hiding them that you enjoy.
So much goodness packed into their episode, just like the goodness packed into veggies! Enjoy!

We can't out succeed our mindset. Think of nearly every lottery winner that gets all that money and then a few years later is usually worse off financially than before winning. Overnight success doesn't serve us because of the way our brains are wired: to protect us from the unknown/scary/unsafe. We literally can't handle success if our brains haven't been trained. The lessons we learn, the evidence we provide for our brains, the stories we tell ourselves about all the things- it all matters.
If we want to create and experience any level of success in our lives, we must train our brains.
