THIS YEAR THE CHAISE LOUNGE is breaking episodes into 3 different categories... Dating...Building and Improving. This topic can apply to all three but builders and improvers may get the most out of this discussion. Speaking your partners love language fluently... Dr. Gary Chapman developed the Love Languages What are Love Languages and why do they matter... Affirmations...Gift Giving...Acts of Service...Quality Time and Physical Touch. How do we learn the language of our partners so that we can understand them and be understood. Understanding how Love Languages work

· Key Elements of the 5 Love Languages

· Everyone has 2 languages a primary & a secondary but aren’t they ALL important

· (Personal story) Normal for people to give your partner what you need (you speak your language to your partner instead of their language)
How do we become fluent in our partners language?

· Are you attune to your partners needs what do they complain about most questions/feedback are necessary to become fluent?

· Compatibility – how does it work when you don’t share the same language (examples)

· Compromise without sacrifice.

What are some simple actions listeners can take to improve their love language skills?

Should we practice learning all 5 love language or just focus on the primary and secondary one?
Marriages are hard they require work but the reward is worth it.

Host Chandra B and author Donna Gray Banks author of erotica Ila's Diamonds (trilogy). This interview leaves no sexual question (stone) left unturned. This conversation will leave you enlightened and inspired...
THIS YEAR THE CHAISE LOUNGE is breaking episodes into 3 different categories... Dating...Building and Improving. This topic can apply to all three but Daters may get the most out of this discussion. Introduce topic Sex Lies and Romance. Is talking about Sex and Erotica taboo during the dating phase? When should it come up...should daters be open and upfront within the first few conversations or should they hold back until they know where “this” is going? For the purpose of this discussion the Lies are primarily those of omission especially when it comes to sex and romance. Whether its additional partners, a sexual desire or proclivity as well as pleasure needs/fulfillment. Discussion on how these types of lies affect the development, intimacy and romance of relationships.
the first book is about love and how we obtain it, nurture it, expound on it and ultimately lose it...then in Ila’s Diamonds II you say its an erotic look at emotional exploitation and meaningless sexual gratification that develops between men and women when true love is not the impetus for a relationship...
Why is love and or commitment seems so difficult to capture? Does sex and dating change after divorce or as we age...are we chasing that first hit...like an addict? What roles does Sex, lies and romance play after 40...does it evolve?.
Chandra B. and Guest Donna Gray Banks share a wealth of information from losing your virginity and masturbation to Oral sex and sexual fulfillment. You will gain several nuggets of wisdom throughout the episode...
Share it with your friends and especially your daughters.

The Chaise Lounge: Relationship and Dating Podcast - How to prepare your Relationship for success: Marital Preparedness

How to prepare your Relationship for success: Marital Preparedness

Host Chandra B. has an open and honest conversation about Marital Readiness. This episode will change how you think and prepare yourself for marriage. Share it with everyone you know whether they are single and looking, dating or in a long-term relationship/marriage.

Marital Preparedness is not Premarital Counseling nor does it equal to Marital Satisfaction. However Pre-marital therapy and the qualities/skills associated with increased marital satisfaction definitely play a role in being better prepared. Marital awareness is about staying present in your relationship. When couples seek to have marital preparedness, they are continuously and consciously working on self-awareness and how it relates to their marriage/relationship. Being prepared for potential threats include Building a Kit, Preparing for the Disaster/Threat and Making a Plan.

Marital Preparedness, like most things start with self-awareness. It will be key for you and your partner to understand yourself and then each other. This understanding has to be assessed and addressed over time. If left stagnant, erosion can occur and cause unforeseen damage to the execution of your plan. Like your relationship is ever evolving so must your plan for marital preparedness. This may require routine assessments of your current qualities and skills as a couple as well as the potential threats your relationship may face and adjust your plan accordingly. When you face things as a Team it increases your chances of success. Remember to continue to ask the hard questions to increase martial preparedness and readiness.
