THE CHAIR (S1/Ep19) — Who Stole Kermit the Frog?
Hello Beautiful People,
I’m Your Host Dreme.
I’m a Black woman, an educator turned tech entrepreneur but still an educator. Building a platform called THE CHAIR is a Black and Brown centered tech platform dedicated to supporting people on their hair journey. You can design hairboards, connect to hair stylists, and share hair care tips all in one space for a more joyous and streamlined experience. I built THE CHAIR Podcast to highlight hair journeys. A reminder to keep creating magic. As people sit in THE CHAIR you will get more than just hair stories. You will be immersed into experiences surrounding education, entrepreneurship, and identity. I hope you enjoy listening to my stories and the stories of my guests as we sit in THE CHAIR.

THE CHAIR (S1/Ep18) — Apple, like the Green One
I was a 3rd grade teacher in Guangzhou, China. I had a student named Apple. This episode is about an interaction with her while I was teaching a Compare/Contrast lesson on Hairspray. Apple became my teacher that day and it is a lesson I will remember for the rest of my life.

THE CHAIR (S1/Ep20) — A Bad B*tch Radio Host with Alopecia
The first time I met Danielle was at a community event. Talking to people, listening intently at the needs of community members. Then I kept seeing her everywhere. Casually making history, doing the work by telling stories with flavor and laughter of communities that are not heard from first or often. I am truly grateful for entrepreneurs like Danielle who remind me daily that everyday is the opportunity to connect with people and that it is hard work. Community is built with every story.
