In this episode of The Cattle Call, host Curtis Ohlde sits down with Wreen Pacheco of Pacheco Beef. Wrenn tells the story of her and her husband Arturo growing up in New Mexico and Texas, meeting at Junior College Judging and onto Texas Tech. Arturo then pursued a Phd in Ruminant Nutrition at K-State followed by finding a ranch to settle down to and call Wabaunsee County Kansas of the Flint Hills home. Today they run Stocker Cattle, Cow/Calf and have a retail store for their own beef in Alma, Kansas. Wrenn also share some of the dues and don't to starting a retail business.
