EFT for Chronic Pain with Lauren Fonveille
09/27/22 • 44 min
In this week’s episode of The Pain Changer, I chat with Lauren Fonvielle, an Integrative Energy Practitioner, specializing in EFT/ Tapping for stress, anxiety, and trauma.
She guides her clients on a journey of self-healing to break through obstacles - physical, mental, or emotional - that are keeping them stuck and holding them back in life or business.
She believes we all have the answers within, and sometimes we just need a little help accessing them.
It was such a pleasure speaking with Lauren and hearing her own journey helping herself resolve and heal from chronic stress and anxiety. She brings in one of my favorite components that I love seeing in other practitioners: a true joy and passion for what she does. In my experience, that joy and passion can make all the difference. In this episode, you will learn:
- What tapping, or EFT is, and how it can help
- How much you can impact cortisol levels, a main component of stress, in just one EFT session
- How it can offer relief from symptoms of trauma without going into the trauma itself
- What my first EFT experience was like and what my body was trying to tell me at the time

Bonus Episode: What Covid Taught Me
This week I decided to release a bonus episode around my experience with Covid, in large part because what I learned while I had Covid was directly tied into the action items and follow-up from episode 27.
While I had a mild case, Covid also kicked my a$$ because I got stuck with it for 3 weeks. In this episode you will learn:
- What I mean by getting “stuck” with Covid versus false positive tests
- How and why I stayed sick
- How giving blood finally released Covid from my body

Loving an Addict with Candace Plattor
In this week’s episode of The Pain Changer, I chat with Candace Plattor, an Addictions Therapist in private practice, where she specializes in working with the family and other loved ones of people who are struggling with addiction, in her unique and signature Family Addiction Counseling and Therapy Program.
As a former opioid addict with 35 years clean and sober now, Candace has learned that overcoming addiction is a family condition: everyone in the family is affected by addiction and everyone needs to heal. For more than three decades, she has been helping both addicts and their loved ones understand their dysfunctional behaviors and make healthier life choices.
The results Candace achieves have been astounding: addicts stop using and families regain their lives from the ravages of addiction. Not only has her success led to a waiting list of clients but she is a sought after leader in the field of addictions. As the developer of the LoveWithBoundaries Family Addiction Counseling and Therapy method, Candace now works with her team of top counselors and coaches, helping both the families and their addicts break the devastating cycle of addiction for good.
I was especially honored and excited to have Candace reach out to be on my show, as I actually took her program while I was disabled and breaking away from an addict myself. It is one I recommend if you are watching someone you love struggle with addiction.
In this episode, you will learn:
- Candace’s incredible journey with addiction and how she recovered
- How Candace works differently than other addiction counselors in the space
- Why boundaries are a critical part of loving someone
- Why the person loving the addict will be the one to help the addict start to heal
