Personally connect with hiring managers and recruiters during the hiring process. Avoid putting pressure on them to help you with your career. If they don’t have an interview for you - it could be a timing issue, but that’s not reflective of you.
Hiring managers and recruiters are people too. They have bad days, stressful days so cut them a break. If you understand their situation and contribute as you would when networking, you’ll get better results.
