The Career Changers - Losing my dream job and starting again with Raja Yoga Meditation | Parmjit Basra

Losing my dream job and starting again with Raja Yoga Meditation | Parmjit Basra

The Career Changers

In this episode Parmjit Basra is guest of The Career Changers and is sharing his inspirational career change story, going from a failed business to the discovery of Raja Yoga Meditation and a new career.
When he first attended a Raja Yoga meditation class 15 years ago, it was because his wife kept insisting it would do him some good. He had been in business with his father, and a downturn in the economy meant they had to fold. Seven years on, the aftermath of settling financial commitments had ground him down to a point where he was feeling very stressed.

His reluctance was based on the assumption: “How can meditation fix real problems?” but he instantly felt the benefit. The meditation enabled him to think more clearly, and what he learned from the teachings reminded him that he had choices, and he had to take responsibility for those choices.
Today Parmjit Basra is a student and teacher of Raja Yoga Meditation. He has many years of experience of facilitating courses, talks and seminars on self-development to a variety of audiences.

How To Live Life in Your Own Terms: From Employee To Wild Entrepreneur | Jim Hughes

Looking to change your career but don't know where to start?

Find your inspiration with Jim Hughes, who shares his story of transitioning from employee to entrepreneur.

After years of working in a traditional career, Jim decided it was time for a change. And that's when he discovered his love for business and entrepreneurship.

In this episode, you can learn the tips and techniques Jim used to make the switch from employee to entrepreneur and learn how to identify your passions, find your business ideas, and start planning your business journey.

Whether you're looking to make a career change or just take a step in a new direction, this episode is a great place to start!

Jim Hughes is the Untamed Entrepreneur, a personal and business coach and speaker, with a penchant for travel, adventure, and as he would say "bad jokes".

He travels the world helping entrepreneurs regain their energy, direction, and inspiration.

He has worked with:

8 figure business owners

World Record holders

Senior military leaders

Lots of people in between

A few years ago, he was a tired, demotivated, and disillusioned employee. The job that once challenged and raised him, had started to weigh him down. He had stopped looking forward to the next day and began to understand what others meant by ‘Monday morning blues’. He had seen others around him live in a state of -at best- apathy and -at worst- disdain, towards their work and told himself this would never be him.

This is when he decided it was the right time for some drastic changes in his life.
