17-year-old Peyton Bono has been selected as a Teen of Impact by the American Heart Association and is 1 of 30 teens driving awareness for The American Heart Association. Peyton is the only teen who actually has a heart defect and has a goal of raising $50K and would like your help. See below for details.
Peyton and her mother, Courtney, share their story of what it was like finding out she was born with Tricuspid Atresia , under going open-heart surgery at 5 months old, and how they had to navigate the process on their own.

Feb 4th 12-2pm Kendra Scott Preston Center University Park
Visit Peyton and check out Kendra Scott’s customized heart necklace. All sales during day and with special online code, will give 20% of sales back to Peyton’s AHA campaign.
Feb 18th 9am Peyton’s Heart Walk at YMCA Park Cities
Meet at YMCA, wear Red or purchase a Peyton for Hearts T-shirt ($30) and participate in an awareness walk around the community. All are welcome.
March 4th 5-8pm Peyton for heARTs show at Zhen Music and Arts Studio
- Come purchase amazing and impressive art from well renowned artist in our community.
- 50-100% donated toward Peyton’s campaign
- Zhen Music and Arts Institute 4901 W Lovers Lane Dallas TX 75209
- Opening Reception starts at 5pm with Complimentary Valet Parking and clean-crafted wine provided
