Hello and welcome back to The Big Run...today's guest is Elise Cranny. Elise Cranny is an American middle and long-distance runner. She is the world record holder in the women's 4x1500 meters relay and holds the Indoor 5000 meters American record. An Olympian, she placed 13th in the 5000 meters at the 2020 Tokyo Olympic Games. Cranny is a two-time US National Champion in the 5000 meters capturing the title in 2021 and 2022. In this conversation we check in prior to Christmas to look back on her year, take some key reflections from her running journey, look ahead to 2023 and why we can all take value in cultivating joy and running for Ice Cream.

In this episode, we track through Pippa's own experience of the condition, debunk some major myths surrounding it and offer some practical advice for people who may be struggling with it or worried about other athletes that are.
