We can become jaded by life’s twists and turns and believe the lie that our troubles are destined to fate or karma, or that God does not see or care. But the human condition is in the hands of God, and He is always faithful.
Bible Reading: Eccl. 9-10
Verse of the day: Ecclesiastes 9:2, “It is the same for all. There is one fate for the righteous and for the wicked; for the good, for the clean and for the unclean; for the man who offers a sacrifice and for the one who does not sacrifice. As the good man is, so is the sinner; as the swearer is, so is the one who is afraid to swear.”
Word of the day: Fate. It is the Hebrew word: מִקְרֶה (mik-reh').
